WHAT’S ON AT NEWCASTLE

WHAT’S ON AT NEWCASTLE cover

Newcastle Pools have come alive over the past few weeks with our fantastic series of Free Inflatable Days, giving families the perfect excuse to make the most of the warmer weather.

Held on selected Sundays from 11:00am to 2:00pm, the sessions have delivered fun for visitors of all ages. With the inflatable included in the pool entry fee, it remains an easy and affordable way for families to enjoy a day out together. No bookings were required; the community could simply arrive, pay on entry, and jump straight into the action.

We've already seen great turnouts at:

  • 15 February 2026 – Stockton Swimming Pool
  • 22 February 2026 – Mayfield Swimming Pool
  • 1 March 2026 – Wallsend Swimming Pool

The fun continues throughout the rest of March at:

  • 8 March 2026 – Lambton Swimming Centre
  • 15 March 2026 – Beresfield Pool

We’ve had strong community participation so far, with families, friends, and lap swimmers alike embracing the excitement. These events support our ongoing commitment to encouraging active lifestyles and strengthening community connection across our facilities.

Thank you to everyone who has joined us so far. We’ve loved seeing our pools filled with laughter and energy, and we look forward to seeing you at our upcoming sessions!

Police Youth Command Group Event

Lambton Pool was proud to host a Community Day in partnership with NSW Police Youth Command and Wandiyali Indigenous Services, delivering an engaging and meaningful experience for local families.

The event provided children with a unique opportunity to connect with police in an interactive environment. Attendees tried on police uniforms, explored the inside of police vehicles and experienced the excitement of switching on the lights and sirens. The pool grounds were filled with enthusiasm as children immersed themselves in the hands on activities.

A free BBQ and ice blocks added to the fun, while families and community representatives took the opportunity to engage in open and meaningful conversations throughout the day. The event created a relaxed setting that encouraged connection, understanding and shared experiences.

We are proud to partner with Wandiyali Indigenous Services and grateful for the ongoing support of the NSW Police Force in fostering positive relationships within our community. Their involvement plays an important role in creating safe, inclusive spaces and memorable experiences for all visitors.

Looking Ahead

From high energy inflatable fun to meaningful community partnerships, it has been a vibrant start to the year at Newcastle Pools. We are proud to see our facilities serving as a hub for connection and look forward to seeing you at our upcoming events!
