Our team is thrilled to announce that the change room upgrades at Wallsend Swimming Centre are now complete!
These upgrades came as part of the Inland Pool Strategy 2043 for the City of Newcastle’s five aquatic centres. These works are estimated to provide the region with over $1.25 million worth of accessibility improvements.
Future works are proposed to include a change room refurbishment at the Lambton Swimming Centre. In addition to these upgrades, the City of Newcastle Council are now evaluating how to provide accessible entry into the city’s pools.
We will be providing further information and updates on our Facebook and Instagram pages. To ensure you keep up to date with all updates, we highly encourage that you follow our social pages.
Our team is excited to see what the future holds for accessibility at Newcastle Pools!
