We’re proud to welcome new School Based Trainees to the region, marking an exciting moment for our team and the future of the aquatic, leisure, and recreation industry.
The School Based Traineeship is designed to provide young people with meaningful, hands on experience, combining practical work with structured training. Throughout the program, trainees rotate across a variety of roles, including pool lifeguarding, swim teaching, and customer service, giving them exposure to multiple career pathways within the industry.
This program offers students a head start on their careers, while also helping them develop confidence, workplace readiness, and essential life skills. It’s an opportunity to learn in a real world setting, build professional experience, and explore potential career directions before finishing school.
