During the winter closure period, we’ve been working hard to ensure the comfort of customers when you return from the winter break!
These upgrades have occurred across our five swimming pools, and included upgrades such as accessibility ramps, heating blankets and heat pump improvements.
What’s New
- Lambton Swimming Centre completed the installation of three new heat pumps.
- With the support of a $220,000 NSW Government grant, Beresfield Swimming Pool upgraded its solar heating system. The upgrade will improve heating efficiency for all to enjoy!
- There was also an addition of a new platform to increase accessibility, ensuring pool access for all customers! Please feel free to talk to our friendly team if you require any assistance using this service.
- Stockton families will be able to enjoy $145,000 worth of upgrades at the swimming centre, focusing on customer comfort with new playground equipment, barbecues, picnic tables, shade structures and new accessible footpaths.
As you return to Lambton pool, you’ll notice blankets covering most outdoor pools during the cooler months to help lock in heat and keep the water warm, except for the 50m pool (which remains uncovered at all times) and the dive pool during bookings. These blankets ensure a comfortable swim experience while still allowing lap and casual swimmers to enjoy their routines. As the weather warms, the blankets will be removed, and all pools will reopen.
