Building water confidence from an early age is one of the most vital life skills we can give our children. Regular participation in structured aquatic programs not only teaches essential swimming skills and vital water safety awareness, but also boosts physical coordination, builds resilience, and fosters social confidence in a safe, fun environment.
Our Ongoing Children’s Programs
At Newcastle Pools we offer a range of ongoing programs designed to help children of all ages and abilities grow, learn, and thrive:
- Swimming Lessons: Our structured Learn to Swim program guides children from infant water awareness through to stroke correction and squad swimming.
- Splashtime: Weekly free sensory-based classes designed for babies up to 4 months old as an introduction to the pool in a fun and nurturing environment.

Free Community Water Safety Talks
As part of our commitment to keeping local families safe in and around the water, BlueFit offers Free Water Safety Talks for local schools, early learning centres, and community organisations! Our experienced team presents fun, interactive sessions that teach children foundational water safety rules, pool rules, and emergency awareness.
