As the warmer months slowly dissolve, we are forced to say “see you later” to another sensational Summer season here at Newcastle Pools.
The doors to our Mayfield, Stockton and Wallsend swimming pools are set to close soon.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank all of our incredible customers and members for their dedication and support throughout the first uninterrupted Summer season back.
We always knew that the first season post-covid was always going to be a little different, however all of our members have helped to make it a memorable one.
The 2022/2023 Summer season saw:
- Lots of bright, colourful sunrises and sunsets.
- Plenty of sunshine throughout the warm Summer days.
- Maybe one or two riddles to help keep us all a little sane.
- Many of our local school’s host their own swimming carnivals.
As we head into the winter closures at Mayfield, Stockton and Wallsend, we are grateful for the tight-knit community we are proud to be a part of. The three pools will close for the season at 6pm on the 23rd of April, reopening at the end of September this year. Lambton will remain open until Sunday, 28 May.
