We’re excited to welcome Robert “Robbie” Murphy into his new role as Facility Manager at Wallsend Swimming Centre!
Robbie’s journey with Newcastle Pools began in November 2023, when he joined the team as a Duty Manager. Since then, he has continued to develop his skills, knowledge and experience across aquatic operations, progressing into the Facility Manager role and taking the next step in his career within the industry.
Robbie is passionate about ensuring Wallsend remains a safe, welcoming, and enjoyable space where people of all ages can stay active and connect. In his new role, he will lead daily operations, safety standards, and team culture while building strong relationships across the local community.
